Grenzen: Borders matter (Short Stories by Global Teens) [paperback]

Borders. Grenzen. What is a border? What different kinds of borders exist? This was the theme that a group of young people were given to explore at the 2019 Frankfurt International School Writing Symposium. They discussed boundaries: personal, fictional, geographical and political. They worked with the authors Ross Raisin and Katrin McClean and came up with their story ideas. A group of artists took their ideas and worked with the graphic designer Anja Fuchs on illustrating them. This collection spans different genres, timespans and worlds. What follows are eighteen stories of love, teenage pregnancy, abduction, social media, war, family, politics and history to name a few. The authors and artists hope you enjoy the book as much as they enjoyed creating it.
